I just read an awesome post on Roz Stendahl's blog, titled
Journaling Superstitions #15: You Must Fix or Cover Up a "Mistake". Basically what she suggests is that your journal should be where you play and experiment and let go of what she calls the "perfect pages myth." I think every journal artist should read this post; so please go
here and read it! Really - you should read this post! Then come back and tell me what you thought, if you're so inclined.

Thanks for sharing that link with our journal class, Cheryl! Letting go of perfection is a wonderful feeling.
Terrific post--thanks for bringing it to our attention. I think perfectionism kills a lot of creativity and experimentation. If you can't make mistakes in your journal, where can you make them?
Thanks for the redirect, Cheryl. Excellent post!
