I started with a base of wool felt, then used Misty Fuse fusible web and fused on a variety of things - dyed cheesecloth, mulberry bark, fibers, ribbon, organza, painted paper towels, foil, tulle. I used several layers of Misty Fuse, which is so light that you hardly know it's there. I cut it up into postcards and ATCs, then satin stitched the edges.

Love these colors!
I'd LOVE to learn how to do this - maybe if I win this lovely piece and actually hold in my hands I may get a better feel for HOW to proceed. You do such lovely work!
You use such a variety of different fibers....love the way you put them all together..this is a great giveaway too!
I love the meandering line that travels through this piece in particular...the way it wraps around the square (window/door?)and continues on to discover a new/perhaps less conventional way on it's journey.
