First finished stitched painting

I took a 4 1/2 day class with Katie Pasquini Masopust called Stitched Paintings. It was a fabulous class, and this is my first finished piece. It is framed rather than bound (edges are finished with satin stitching).

This is really interesting and lovely, Cheryl. I'd like to hear more about how you made it.

Very interesting Cheryl. It does take time to finish these projects! I'm new to quilting from the world of sculpture so it is a challenge!!!! I like the stitching. I'm going to Canada to take her design and painting course in May.

Thank you for commenting on Katie's class. I'm in the online 11 session with you. I used to have a website but it expired. I like the ease of this blog could you give me the name? I look forward to following your work! Marilyn Waite
