We flew through Los Angeles on our way to Yosemite on May 7th, so I spent some of my layover time sketching. I didn't end up doing much sketching in Yosemite; we were there for a photography workshop so I spent most of my time photographing instead.
I'm always surprised when someone talks about how they love palm trees and that's the first thing they want to sketch....because they're around me all the time, I don't usually see them as anything special until I see them in a sketch like this!

Nice sketch of this palm tree - it looks like it is blowing in the wind.
